Issue I am new business owner and I did not realize that I needed to keep my cash deposit exactly the same as my cash sales receipts. I am using square integration and my bank is also connected to QBO. Usually I would just take whatever amount out of the register and deposit it. I now know this is the wrong way to do it and its definitely easier if it matches the sales for the day. Unfortunately, I did not know that. Generally speaking I can get my deposits within a few dollars or cents. But I cant get it to match exactly. Any solutions would be greatly apricated.

We had someone use one of a cards to purchase something.  it was fraud and we got the credit back.  Just wonder how this is usually accounted for.  What GL do you put the expense in (the one the expense would normally be for?).  and then when we get the money back, we do a deposit int the reverse?

I accidentally entered my checking balance when trying to reconcile my savings balance, and now I can't edit it to reflect the correct amount. Don't know how to reset the the statement ending balance.

Hi all;I've been on the Desktop version - various editions - for more years than I can count.  QBO has alot of things that work differently so inparticular I'm looking for guidance on the best way to handle the following:In the desktop version, I would manually transpose payment information I'd see in the Bank account to create bill payments through out the month.  Than at the beginning of the following month, I would bring in the prior month bank feed, let it match up what it could, and work my way through what it couldn't matchup on its own. but now with QBO, I've side step a little and just bring in the feed and let it do what it can.  than I work my way through what it can't match up on its own.  Only I just had a situation were a matched and reconciled payment was linked to two invoices - and it was a mess to figure out how to fix it. so I'm wondering if I should be following what I use to do in the desktop version??Or if there is a better w

I would like more specific instructions if the suggestion is to resolve it from the bank's end.

Thank you in advance for your solutions. I have spoken to support several times for several hours over a years time and this QuickBooks bug still remains.  Please help (-: PROBLEM: The American Express brilliant non-business credit card account is not uploading the transactions from the additional  card holders on the same account. (Even when the card holders are listed as a sub accounts those sub accounts do not get automatically updated either.  This was one suggested solution that didn’t work.) Currently, every month I have to manually enter all those transactions for the non-primary card holders.  (FYI, My business American Express account works fine.).

bill entered, paid with a check, bank feed is not matching to the payment, bank feed show offline for the item. the amount and check # are correct but still not matching

My other Chase accounts continue to appear in QB. I have already tried QB in a different browser- same result.

I am looking to input credit card accounts and their charges manually (it's a small biz) but every help topic seems to refer to a different version of QB and tells me to click on tabs that don't exist in Solopreneur. I appreciate any help.

I work at a company using QuickBooks Enterprise for Manufacturing Version 13.0.I am trying to set up the banks and credit cards in the Bank Feed. I get an error message OLSU 1024. When I try to access the financial institutions, I get an HTTP 403 error.I know this is an old version. I have read the QuickBooks articles and watched a few videos. I can't find a place in the Bank GL account to deactivate the online bank services. When I choose the option, it just brings me back to the OLSU 1024 error
