Question

loan manager area is not functioning since last quickbooks automatic update

Loan Manager, within Banking tab of Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020 is not accessible since recent quickbooks automatic update.  We have contacted Quickbooks and Intuit.  Support staff sets up tier escalation to resolve, says this is a common problem, assigns a case number and say we will receive a call.  No one calls.  When we call back in, no one can reference a case number  or look up our communications and we are told to start over.

I know how inconvenient it is, jml2019.

I understand how it felt when you've been promised to get an update, but no one calls you back.

Upon checking, there's an open investigation about this one. That's why you haven't heard anything from us.

We've located your case, and as I can se you've been added as one of the affected users.

You will receive a call or email from us as soon as the engineering team has a fix or workaround.

You can always reach out in community for updates or if you have other concerns.

Yes, the Loan Manager is another feature that uses browser windows. It's probably broken because of the new internal browser Intuit included in the last update to replace IE.

Their new browser doesn't seem to work every well. Based on posts here, it seems most every feature that uses it appears to be broken in some way: Some features cause QuickBooks to crash or just disappear. Others appear but then are broken. And others don't even appear when you try to launch them.
