This happens because the payment was posted to the Undeposited Funds account rather than directly into a specific bank account. To move the money into the correct account, you need to create a bank deposit. Use the exact details from your bank statement such as the deposit date, so your records match your real-world business activities.

Here's how:

1. Go to Banking, then choose Make Deposits.
2. Select the payment in the Payments to Deposit window and click OK.
3. Choose the correct bank account in the Deposit to dropdown.
4. Set the correct date and a memo as needed.
5. Once done, click Save and close.

If you’ve connected your bank account, you match the deposit to the downloaded payment.
