With open banking is it necessary to have a Tax file number in order to obtain bank feeds i have been using quickbook for my personal finances and hobby income from what I collected over yrs i am not a businessowner never had a TFN.Does this mean I will.be unable to obtain bank feeds because no TFN. My only option is to get data manually using CSV file or cancel quickbooks find alternate program where TFN is not necessary.Any advice welcome

You don't need a Tax File Number (TFN) to set up bank feeds in QuickBooks using open banking.

While QuickBooks may prompt you for a TFN, this is only relevant to its payroll and business tax features. Your bank feeds will still sync your financial data automatically, so there's no need to cancel your subscription or switch to manual CSV imports.
