Question

Unable to select multiple transactions to edit

I'm using Desktop for Mac 2019. All of my transactions were imported via IIF and have a default "Expenses" category which I am trying to update.  In my bank register I've filtered for a certain vendor and want to change all of the transactions to a different category.  The user guide says I can hold "SHIFT" and select multiple transactions, however this does not work.  Is there a setting I'm missing?  I'm using Mojave v10.14.2. Quickbooks for Mac 2019 v18.0.4 R5.

You'll have to edit the transactions one at the time.

Probably best to change the entries in the .iif file before importing.  QuickBooks Mac forces you to make a backup before importing - you might want to roll back to that backup, update the .iif file, and then reimport.

Either that or fix them one at a time as SkinnyRaven suggests.
