We would like to have a daily bank feeds from OCBC
I have pinpointed a transaction for this amount from Nov 2020, but in reviewing the original expense posting, it looks correct. We are no longer using this credit card, so the final reconciliation should be zeros in the reconciliation and balance sheet. However the balance sheet shows this small balance.
I NEED to input the exchange rate up to 8 decimal points (at the moment I only can write 0.0966842, BUT I MUST WRITE 0.09668415. THIS MAKES DIFFERENCE IN 0.01 GBP) instead of 7 as due to this, i am unable to reconcile my bank statement with the QB balance. WHEN YOU WILL FIX THE PROBLEM? HOW CAN I WRITE THE SAME RATE AS MY BANK?????? I WAIT for YOUR REPLY ASAP!

Hi, I've been using Quickbooks for 3 years but have only started using the banking options this year. I successfully connected with OCBC bank and was pretty happy reconciling quickbooks with my bank account. In the most recent "Update" from the banking tab, I noticed there was a large gap in quickbooks. It downloaded everything until August 5 and only continued downloading after August 14. That means, nothing was downloaded into Quickbooks from August 6 - August 13. I checked my bank account and indeed there was activity during that period. What could be the issue here? Anyone else in Singapore facing the same issue with OCBC bank?
how do i record the return of a security deposit but not the full amount, it is currently a line on the accounts as non current asset, when i put the money back in say -10% the accont won't balance, I'm guessing i need to create another item along lines of "Security deposit deduction" and that will be a liability? or what type of account i'm not sure, all the answers i have seen are from other way round mainly real estate businesses managing client funds, this is me paying out then getting back a deposit for my business.
