Welcome to Community! I understand the concern with incorrect amounts affect the reconciliation process. QuickBooks Online provides the ability to make necessary changes, so you can complete your reconciliation seamlessly. I would be glad to help!
One of the first areas to review is the Audit log, to see if any changes were made after the account was reconciled previously. To review this, follow these steps;
1. Go to Settings ⚙️
2. Open the Audit log
3. Select Reconciliations from the Events drop-down.
If any changes have been made, the best course of action is to undo the previous reconciliation, then repeat the reconciliation process. In doing so, be sure that the Beginning balance, Ending balance and Ending date are aligned with your statement.
