HostBooks is a separate service, a cloud-based accounting and tax platform that is not associated with QuickBooks.

I was speaking with a QB rep and he put me through to his technical rep and he recommended Hostbooks. I feel like I got scammed into paying for this service and I don’t really need it.

Intuit experts will never suggest different accounting software, such as Hostbooks. Additionally, they will never reach out to customers unless a callback has been requested.

 

If you did not initiate a callback, this could be a potential scam, and you can report the issue to our Intuit Online Security Center. We also have an article on identifying suspicious activity and phishing scams that you may find useful.
