How to set up chart of accounts that result in good reporting of profit and losses for different products and services offered.

You can install the trial license for QB Desktop. You'll find a sample CoA for an IT company when you create a new company file. You can use the sample for reference and modify it if needed. Then you may need to take advantage of class tracking to get a good P&L reporting for your products and services.
