Quicken shows state payroll tax and forms due in 4 days. When I attempt to pay, I get a message that says, "Oops! Something went wrong".

Hello there, debbie.

Can you confirm if you’re using a third-party software or service connected to Quicken that handles payroll tax payments? If so, I recommend reaching out to Quicken Support as their team specializes in handling technical concerns and identifying any issues with integrations or linked apps for payroll processing.

However, if you’re referring to QuickBooks/QuickBooks Payroll, we can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to help resolve this issue since certain settings might affect how QuickBooks works. Here's what you can do:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

From there, you can try to log back into your account and repeat the process on how to pay for your payroll tax and forms to see how it goes.

Please keep us updated regarding your concern. We’re here to assist you every step of the way and ensure you find a solution.
