We won't be able to manually unfile a GST period in QBO, as the system locks your tax data once it's marked as filed.

To resolve this, reach out to our QuickBooks Live Support team or consult your accountant. Make sure to provide the specific tax period and details for the unfiled return.

  1. Once done, go to Taxes > Sales Tax.
  2. Click Prepare Return.
  3. In the detail screen, manually change the date range (start/end dates) from the Filing period dropdown to the correct period.
  4. After you have finished updating the details in the returns, select Mark as filed.

Here is an article that will help guide you through the process: File your GST return and record GST payments in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be here if you need more assistance.
