Compatible label printer Pro 2020

I "upgraded" to Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020 last month, only to find my Dymo LabelWriter 450 is no longer a supported integrated application, which means I can no longer print an address label directly from a customer invoice. This is a major problem for me. Is there a fix for this issue, or is there another thermal address label printer out there that does actually integrate?

Yes, we have other supported label printers that you might want to check out. You can visit our Intuit Market and search something like label printer. All our available printers will appear. Then, we can check the reviews on how it works. 

 

If you need further help with your existing label printer to its compatibility with QuickBooks, you can reach out to us. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu and click QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Enter your question about Dymo LabelWriter 450 compatibility with QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020.
  3. Click Continue and select Start a Message

There is nothing in that markenplace link other than apps. I need an actual label printer that will work with printing an address from an open invoice in Pro 2020. All the recommended printers I find are all just used for POS.

For those that stumble across this thread in the future, DO NOT buy a Dymo LabelWriter 450 and expect it to integrate with QuickBooks. They did for years, but if you are using the version from 2018 forward, forget it. Here is their actual response.

I have contacted my Technical Team for assistance and I regret to inform you that the QuickBooks Pro versions after 2018 are no longer supported. There are currently no plans on updating the software.

I purchased a brand new LabelWriter 450 in February 2020 to go along with my new Quickbooks Pro 2020 upgrade I was doing. I quickly found your priinter no longer integrates with Quickbooks Pro 2020, to allow me to capture a customer address directly from an open invoice, as I have done for years. I called your support and got a person who told me "Oh that has not worked since 2018, and I don't think we are going to fix it". Not the answer I was looking for. I need a fix for the problem. I cannot be a big deal. It worked fine for years until I upgraded. Awaiting your response.
