Phone call scam.... fraud error code

I just received a phone call from a man who said he was from QuickBooks and he gave me error codes. I was very suspicious. He asked me if i knew how to find and fix the error codes. He said if i didnt know how to fix the error codes that he could guide me through it and asked me to open QB. He gave me a phone number of [phone number removed]. I told him i thought he was a scammer and hung up.

Does this sound legitmate?
