Question

QB Desktop Price Increase????

I just received the email stating the price increase effective October 2026.

I would like for someone to justify to me these ridiculous increase amounts.

With these continued increases year over year, it makes it hard for small accounting business like mine to continue, not to mention the increased cost my clients will incur for their software.

This move is seen as a subtle attempt to entice QuickBooks Desktop users to switch to Enterprise or Online. I am not surprised by this news and have been consulting with @Fiat Lux_ASIA since last year on how to handle clients who insist on using Desktop (and also Enhanced Payroll if required) but object to the constant price increases. My clients can renew their Desktop licenses at a discounted price and pay in installments to help with their cashflow. So far, there have been no complaints.
