The text in my invoice disappeared

Help! When I opened an existing invoice this morning, all of the text in the body of the invoice disappeared except for the total line. It still shows when I print the invoice. How do I get the text back?

Since the text still shows up when you print, this is just a temporary display glitch with your web browser.

To fix it, open QuickBooks in a private or incognito window to give the page a fresh start without old data causing problems. You can also try switching to a different browser and check your invoice again.

I need to edit the invoice, and I’m afraid to change it when I can’t actually see the text. I need to get the text to show up, so I know I’m not accidentally editing over something I can’t see.

Have you already tried accessing QuickBooks Online using a private or incognito window? If so, could you please send us a screenshot of what you see on your end?

In the meantime, we highly recommend not making any unnecessary edits to your invoices while the text is not displaying correctly.
