Question

To do notes not showing

My To Do List has completely disappeared. I attempted to re-enter my upcoming due dates and it is just now showing at all. Has anyone had this happen to them before?

Let's ensure your To Do Notes aren't set to Don't Remind Me under your Company Preferences, Baldwin.

This could explain why they're not appearing in your Reminders window.

    Here's how:

    1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
    2. Navigate to the Edit menu, then select Preferences.
    3. Click Reminders, then go to the Company Preferences tab.

    4. From there, make sure to tick either Show Summary or Show List for your To Do Notes instead of Don't remind me.
    5. Once done, click OK.

If everything is set up correctly but the issue persists, I recommend using the Verify and Rebuild Tool in to identify and resolve any potential data issues in your company file.

Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

Thanks for your reply, that was the first thing I did. I checked my preferences. Nothing changed in my setting, I have always had it set to show summary. I did notice yesterday afternoon, after trying to re-enter them, I pulled up the calendar. They seem to be there now, they didn't show there prior. Just on my reminders. Now I have different entries that I can't delete from the calendar. And still nothing showing back up in my to do reminders list.

I did as you suggested, with the rebuild tool, the diagnostic came out clean with no errors. And of course, still no list magically reappearing.
