Transfer Inventory

Hello every body. I've a question about Transfer Inventory.
I'm using QB in an Oil company. We have several inventory transfers every day and the problem is difference in loading and evacuation of trucks. For example loading weight is 24 ton but evacuation weight of this truck is 23.5 ton. Now a days I've created a third storage by the name of On-Way. First I TRF the truck by 24 ton weight to On-Way storage and then TRF 23.5 ton to the destination storage. It's useful but I'm looking for a better and shorter way to record this Inventory Transfer at once.
