I have sent a customer an invoice and he has not paid it and is unresponsive (but has viewed it over 20 times) Can I legally charge his card that he saved on a previous invoice?

Charging a saved card without explicit, written authorization for this specific transaction isn't legally permitted. However, QuickBooks has a built-in Send Reminder feature that makes following up on overdue invoices quick and easy.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to All Apps > Customer Hub > Customers & Leads.
  2. Locate the customer and the unpaid invoice.
  3. Click the drop-down under the Action column, then fill in the needed details and click Send Reminder.

QuickBooks will automatically pull in the invoice details, giving your customer a clear view of the outstanding balance.
