All of a sudden my invoices do not have a total on the bottom any more. How can I change it back so the total will show up? And now my invoices say Balance due (hidden) in the top right hand corner, how to change that also.

While we’re still having the problem with invoices converted from estimates, I have needed to modify an invoice for almost a month now. I would really like to get this taken care of, so it doesn’t continue hanging over my head. I have been worried about modifying the invoice, when all of the text in the body of the invoice has disappeared. I’m concerned that I would be unknowingly add text over the text that had disappeared, because I can’t see it. How can I modify this invoice without messing up the original invoice text? And any news on when we can expect this to be fixed? Last I heard, I was told there’s no estimate on when it will be fixed.

A quick look at how the new QuickBooks Online updates take the guesswork out of bank transaction matching. Now, QuickBooks ranks match suggestions by confidence, provides a loading indicator while it searches for matches, and provides a wider search window for accuracy. I’ve been trying for a month to find out when QB will be refunding us for 3 weeks worth of taxes they shouldn’t have taken out back in June.I called on June 30 and was told that, yes, it was QBs error, and that the money and all fees incurred would be taken care of by QB. First it was going to happen in 3-5 business days, then 7-10 business days, then it would happen on July 22. A fourth call made and I was told they couldn’t get a hold of me (whatever that means).I NEED someone to contact me and tell me exactly what’s going on and when this will be resolved. This is ridiculous.

My understanding is a liability account is place to record money that needs to be paid out. Ok, then how does one reduce that liability? If I look at Expense, then I can pay the equivalent of the amount of the liability but that does not reduce the amount in the liability account.
We would like an invoice template to show the price level applied to this part. We would like to see columns for original/standard price, discounted price, and price level being used, per line item.
We are still using QB POS 19.Usually works fine, we run the server and 4 workstations.Yesterday I had to replace a workstation. Downloaded POS, it got stuck on "reading receipts" for about 12 hrs. I closed it the next morning and then it worked fine. Then it didn't. Could not find the company server file. Then the other machines started losing connection for hours at a time. Some would later connect, others would not. Most of the day only 1 workstation would connect. By end of day 2 were connected. Its not a network issue, what else could be causing this and how could we fix it?
The Spring 2026 release notes for IES state that “For teams that manage ICJEs in spreadsheets, CSV import lets you upload and draft multiple ICJEs at once, converting an existing workflow into a structured process without requiring teams to change how they operate.”Has anyone been able to actually import multiple Intercompany journal entries using a single batch? The only option I’ve found is opening the Journal entry form in the UI, clicking import, and importing 1 CSV at a time.
Hello, I am trying to reconcile an account but cannot figure out why I have a difference. The account says there's a difference of $61,661.66 I went through and manually checked each transaction. The account state shows 188 payments and 89 deposits. Same as what QB shows. The only thing I can think of is if an older transaction was changed from (C) cleared status to (R) reconciled? The account doesn't have any discrepancies but still shows this difference. I checked the activity log to see if I could trace which transactions would have caused this but it doesn't show those kind of edits. is there anyway I could create a journal entry to fix this issue?
Hello! I have a very small discrepancy in my September reconciliation that I have been unable to solve. The amount is .04 (yes 4 cents!) but it is throwing me off and I fear will cause an issue with October's reconciliation. I have combed through the bank statement and our company's QB register but unable to find the error. I played around with how to make the Difference = 0, I added .04 cents as a credit to our ledger, but I am unclear what to call this type of entry. Attached is a screen shot of the register. Note that I did not check the .04 cent entry which is highlighted. Once I select it, September will be reconciled but I am not sure if that is the right thing to do. Any thoughts or is there a better approach? Thank you so very much!
I just want to be able to enter my password and sign in without fetching codes from emails or phone numbers.
I'm trying to reconcile my most recent credit card statement, but when I got to the reconciliation screen it says "Your account isn't ready to reconcile" and the "Previous Balance" number is wrong. It doesn't match the beginning balance on my current cc statement, the end balance on my previous cc statement, or even the ending balance on the previous reconciliation report from quickbooks itself. Which of course all match and are the correct number. It also says "There's a discrepancy because at least one transaction was changed or deleted after it was reconciled." But I don't see any deleted transactions. This is a strange one. For some reason the "Previous Balance" number in the reconciliation window is just wrong. But it's right everywhere else. Any ideas?
The checks were printing fine until about a month ago and now, everything is printing one line down. So, I have gone into the print set up to fine tune the alignment. I was originally at 30 for vertical, so I tried moving it up to 15. Then I printed a sample. This is where I am having a problem. The sample prints the same no matter where I set the vertical - 0, 15, 30, -15 - I pick any of them and print the sample and it just stays in the same spot. Please help...
For the past few months, I've found 1-3 deposit entries in our check register that are duplicated. I'm sure I didn't enter these deposits twice. I'd like to know a) why this is happening, and b) how to prevent it. Thanks for any leads.
I am — sadly — well aware of the “solution” for dealing with vendors and customers being the same person/entity. This is not a request for help in finding a solution. Instead, it is an observation. From someone who is a highly-skilled programmer and database designer. The fact this situation isn’t handled intuitively is a huge, dinosaur-killing-level blunder on the part of Quicken. Accounting is supposed to represent the real world. In the real world individual entities can fulfill many roles. Quicken attempts to be accounting software. Consequently, this “problem” should’ve been addressed in the earliest architectural discussions for the Quickbooks database. It was not. Shame on Quicken management for letting this flaw exist. But anyone can make a mistake. The real nastiness is that Quicken management cares so little about their customers that they haven’t made fixing the problem a AAA don’t-go-home-until-it’s-fixed priority. Which makes it abundantly cle
My deposits are showing in the bank registry as a deposit and a payment. Is this correct or is this something should look into.
I set the alignment area and print a few bills. Later, I will go to print checks for payroll and the setting is off again. Is there more detailed options for print alignment somewhere?
