Converted from QBD to QBO

Converted from QBD to QBO. For both the AR and AP aging summary, when the report is called up nothing shows up until we hit refreash. Even thought the data shows up. When we print or export the report is blank. Has anyone run into this issue? Was there a fix?

Thank you

Good Morning Sue CR,

Thanks for sharing that with the QuickBooks Community. This is a known behavior that can happen after converting from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, and there are a few things to try.

First, give the report a moment to fully load. After hitting Refresh and the data appears on screen, wait about 10 seconds before printing or exporting. The report needs a little extra time to fully render, and exporting too quickly can capture a blank state.

Second, use the built-in export option. Instead of using your browser's print button, use the Export/Print > Print/Save as PDF option directly within the report. This tends to be more reliable.

Third, check your AR and AP accounts. Go to your Chart of Accounts and make sure you have exactly one active Accounts Receivable account and one active Accounts Payable account, and that neither has been renamed to something unusual. A remapped or renamed account from the conversion can cause aging reports to behave inconsistently.

Please let me know if the issue is still persistent. We will then further investigate this matter. I am looking forward to your comment. See you soon.

Hi Sue CR,

Yes, this can happen after converting from QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Since the AR and AP Aging Summary reports populate after refreshing but appear blank when printed or exported, it could be related to browser cache, report settings, or an issue with the converted company data.

You can try clearing your browser cache, using a private/incognito window, and running the reports again. If the issue continues, QuickBooks support can help check the migrated data and report settings.
