Question

Custom Summary Report

How do I access the Custom Summary Report that is suppose to be part of QuickBooks Online Plus? I found the following link  https://qbo.intuit.com/app/reportv2?token=CustomSummary via Google search and Youtube search. When you click on the link, it pulls up the report and sits there like its thinking. You can not make any changes to it and have to close the browser tab to exit out of it.

I'll help you access the Custom Summary Report, rklessel.

You can access all of your custom reports in the Reports menu. Here's how:

  1. Go to Business overview and then select Reports.
  2. Select the Custom reports tab.

  3. Find and open the report you want to view.

For more details about personalizing your reports, please see these resources:

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you learn which reports are included for your version of QuickBooks Online: Available for Simple Start, Essentials, and Users.

Please keep us posted if you need assistance customizing your reports. We're always here to help you out.

I am using QBO Plus and I am looking for the custom summary report that is suppose to be available. See table below.

I found the following link online: (https://qbo.intuit.com/app/reportv2?token=CustomSummary)

This link is no longer working correctly and I need to be able to create custom summary reports for my work.

Modifying any of the standard summary reports will give me the information that I need.

How do I get the above link to work?

Why isn't custom summary report available in QBO Plus?

Thank you for getting back to us, rklessel.

At this point, we'll do the browser troubleshooting steps to see if you're just experiencing random display issues. However, if you still can't run the Custom Summary Report, please contact our QBO Support so they can check this further using more tools. I'll also include the steps to contact them.

We can start by signing in to your QBO company using a private window. This step will disable the extensions and stops the cache from saving your search history.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.
  • MS Edge and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P.

If private browsing lets you run the report, you can clear your browser's cache. If not, please use a different browser to see if this only happens to the one you are using.

To contact our QBO Support:

  1. Go to Help and select the Search tab.
  2. Click Contact Us at the bottom.
  3. Enter something like Missing Custom Summary Report in QBO Plus and click Continue.
  4. Choose Start a chat or Get a callback.

Feel free to reach back out if you have other questions in mind. Take care and have a good one!
