Email a report

The QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app supports most tasks, but the email functionality for sending financial reports is unavailable. As a workaround, you can use your mobile web browser to email your reports.

To start, open your mobile web browser, go to qbo.intuit.com, and sign in to your account. You can enable Desktop site in your browser’s settings for a more detailed view. Once signed in, go to the Reports section, open your desired report, and click the Email icon. From there, enter the recipient’s email address, Subject, Message, and File Name. Choose the desired format (Excel, CSV, or PDF), then select Send email.

Once the email is sent, your recipient will receive a comprehensive copy of the financial report in the file format you’ve selected.
