Hello there jacy,

I am here to provide you some information on how SKU works in QuickBooks.

QuickBooks will not auto-generate the SKU, you'll need to manually enter the SKU's.

Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Product and Services.
  3. Click on Edit, under Action.
  4. Enter the SKU's.
  5. Click on Save and close.

You can also see this article for more information about SKU's: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1429293-use-skus.

I would suggest sharing this idea with our product engineers by sending them feedback. Just click on the Gear icon and select Feedback.

You can always come back here if you need anything else. Thanks for dropping by!

Welcome to the Community, @1935 1480 1328 664.

I understand how the column you're looking for is beneficial to your business. Right now, the ability to include SKU when printing purchase orders are unavailable.

For Purchase Orders or any other vendor transactions, you can enter the SKU on the Description column (see screenshot below). To ensure your voice is heard, I can personally submit another feature request on my end.
