IES - Multiple Intercompany Journal import

The Spring 2026 release notes for IES state that “For teams that manage ICJEs in spreadsheets, CSV import lets you upload and draft multiple ICJEs at once, converting an existing workflow into a structured process without requiring teams to change how they operate.”

Has anyone been able to actually import multiple Intercompany journal entries using a single batch? The only option I’ve found is opening the Journal entry form in the UI, clicking import, and importing 1 CSV at a time.

To clarify that phrase from the Spring 2026 release notes, the system only accepts one CSV file per upload action rather than a batch of multiple separate files. Specifically, that single file can contain multiple rows of data that the system automatically unpacks into individual draft ICJE.
 

The best workaround is to consolidate your data from those individual spreadsheets into a single master CSV template before importing. Once uploaded, your draft ICJE will automatically appear on your dashboard in one clean step.

Understood, thanks.  I understand that we can only upload 1 CSV, but is there a way to import multiple intercompany journal entries at once (in 1 CSV file or using any other approach)? Or do I need 1 CSV per entry that needs to then be imported 1 at a time.

One example is that I need to book nearly 30 internal cash transfer entries per month, all intercompany.  I’m wondering if the only way to accomplish this is to put each entry into a CSV file, manually drag each one into the import window, then go to each entry draft and post.  They can’t be combined in 1 entry because they all happen on different days. 
 

Because of the June 1st update which ended account-level eliminations in favor of transaction-level eliminations, I can no longer upload these entries using the spreadsheet sync tool (also because that tool does not support intercompany transactions).  Before the change in eliminations, I’d just upload a batch for each entity

Yes, you can now upload a single CSV file to import multiple intercompany journal entries (ICJEs) at once in Intuit Enterprise Suite. The system automatically processes your spreadsheet and generates individual draft ICJEs for you to review and complete before posting.

 

You do not need to upload a separate file for each entry. A single CSV file can contain multiple rows of data, and once uploaded, the system creates all your individual draft ICJEs simultaneously.
