Modern view is awful and was not designed by an accountant

 

Proper accounting 101 says Company name, then statement name, but modern view puts the statement name first

 

Proper accounting 101 has the current year on the left, and prior year on the right.  Modern view has the reverse

Did intuit even ask an accountant to review this?  I could go on, but the point is don't force us to use modern view.  We don't like it, just see all the posts...

Which reports are you referring to?  In modern view, the B/S and P&L Comparison reports have CY on the left and the prior year on the right:
