So my last year pro advisor has all my documents, i have some questions. however they have completely disappeared and I REALLY don't appreciate this. I how do I change pro advisors? I can't seem to find a straight forward answer but i would like to essentially fire him for this and find someone else.

Hi there, jbr2343. To change your ProAdvisor in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you must first remove your current accountant's access and then invite a new one.

To remove your current ProAdvisor, you must sign in as the primary admin. Navigate to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users. Click the Accountants or Accounting Firms tab, locate the accountant, select Delete from the Action column, and confirm by selecting Delete again. This immediately removes their access to your company file.

Once you have done this, you can invite a new ProAdvisor. To send the invitation, go back to the Accountants or Accounting Firms tab and select Invite firm. Enter their email address or firm ID and select Send the invitation.

If you still have questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

Does your ProAdvisor hold access as the Primary Admin of your account?
