Is there a Quickbooks report that shows the delivered date (either item receipt of bill date) of an item versus the ordered date on the PO?

QuickBooks Desktop doesn't have a specific report that compares a purchase order's ordered date and delivered date through an item receipt or bill. As a workaround, you can customize a Transaction List by Vendor report and manually open individual purchase orders to view the linked receipt or bill dates.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Hover over Vendors & Payables and select Transaction List by Vendor.
  3. Select Customize Report, then navigate to the Filters tab.
  4. In the Search Filters box, enter Transaction Type.
  5. From the All dropdown menu, choose Purchase Order, then click OK.
  6. Click on the purchase order to open it. On the right side, select the Transaction tab next to Vendor.
  7. In the RELATED TRANSACTIONS section, you will see the linked item receipts or bills along with their respective dates.
