The Vat app/tab/function has disappeared, any help with locating it please?

Are you referring to the VAT tab on the left sidebar of your home page? If so, please know that it is incorporated under your Taxes menu. See the following steps to locate it:

1. Navigate to the All apps menu, then click on Taxes.
2. Select Overview.
3. From there, you can start managing your returns, payments, agencies, and setup.

If the option is still missing, consider logging in to your account through an incognito window or a different browser to check if the issue is browser-related.
