I have done this fix every year. This year - I have already done twice and now my pdfs are in characters again. Why does this continue happening?
Has this issue been fixed? Tired of manually creating PDF files with another program - I really need Profile to work better in regard to PDF.
I am having the same issue and level 1 and level 2 support were not able to help in BUILD PDF, save and email or emailing T1 Profile returns. Quite frustrating. did you find a work around?
I have not found a work around and have to manually save each file as a PDF using another program. I am very disappointed in Profile after using for 20+ years. My only recourse seems to be to change tax software :(
Hi,
The article will help if the pdf prints characters/garbled rather than printing as expected. There are several step in the article, that should resolve this issue. For persistent printing of pdfs with garbled text there is the further investigation step in the article. This is not a general ProFile issue since this issue cannot be reproduced by the development team.
There should be no issues building a pdf. If you have errors building a pdf we have an article you can try here.
There is an investigation for problems using email a pdf. Some people receive message: error sending mail (11). This error will be resolved in ProFile version 2022.1.0 targeted for release later in November.
I apologize for the inconvenience. If you need further assistance please call us at 1-800-452-9970
Hello,
The problem is not in building the PDF but in that the PDF is not readable.
P.S. It's a general issue since a lot of users have the same problem and a few agents confirmed that they are aware of the problem. There's even a link (see above) provided by Intuit on how to fix the issue but still doesn't solve the issue.
