Copy shared rental information from one partner's return to another

The transfer of shared rental information is not automatic, but you can use the Intuitive Copy/Paste feature in ProFile to copy T776 information from one return (for example, Taxpayer) to the other (for example, Child one). You can then delete the name of the partner (Child one) from the list of the partners on T776 for Child one's return.

Copy the shared rental information

1. Open the Taxpayer's return for which you have completed a T776 with all the rental information including the list of partners.
2. While on the T776 for Taxpayer, click Edit and select Intuitive Copy.
3. Go to the T776 on Child one's return.
4. While on Child one's return, click Edit and select Intuitive Paste. This will copy the rental information from Taxpayer's return to Child one's return.
5. Scroll down to the list of partners in Child one's T776, delete the partnership information for Child one from the list.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each child.
