Please fix "Hst (on)" versus "HST (ON)" error

When you send an invoice from within QB with online payments enabled, the capitalization for the sales tax is incorrect: it displays "Hst (on)" in the bottom-right corner. If I print an invoice, it correctly shows "HST (ON)."

Please fix "Hst (on)" versus "HST (ON)" error

I appreciate you bringing this to our attention, @brenda80. We can contact our Live Support Team to look into the HST abbreviation when emailing an invoice.

I have looked into this and run into the same problem. Since there's no option to change this in QuickBooks settings, it's best to reach out to our live support team for a thorough check regarding the HST sales tax capitalization. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chat box, select Talk to a Human or tap the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  4. Then, type your reason for contacting us in the What can we help you with? box and click Continue.
  5. From there, choose a way to connect with us: Chat with us, get a Callback, or call our support line directly by getting our phone number.

Please note their support hours to ensure you can reach them at your convenience. For more details, please refer to this article on contacting our support: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.

Moreover, you can run reports that will help you review your sales tax payable, ensuring everything is accurate before paying taxes.

As always, you can visit the Community whenever you need help managing sales taxes. We are available 24/7 for assistance. Take care!
