In Online Standard Payroll, is there any way yet to change pay day? I currently pay my employees on 6th of the month, but from November it will be 28th of the month.
I created a new (test) pay schedule for 28th each month, but it wouldn't let me add my employees on to it.

For Standard Payroll, we're unable to change the pay schedule once an employee has been paid. The article mentioned in the Multiple Pay Schedules in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll article talks more about moving employees between pay schedules.
We don't support moving employees between pay schedules automatically during a tax year. To move an employee between pay schedules, you need to mark them as a leaver before recreating their profile and assigning them to a new pay schedule.
Remember to put the year-to-date data for any earnings and tax in Pay History if you move your employee's pay schedule mid year.
You could manually change the Pay Date when running payroll. See screenshot below where you can edit it.

Hello Rjwbailey,
Welcome to the Community page,
In standard payroll, there is no function of being able to change the pay day.
It would be a case of creating a new pay schedule and try and move all your employees onto it.
or failing that you can either create a new pay schedule and new employee records or move over to our advanced payroll.
Thanks - I already created a new pay schedule but it wouldn't let me add existing employees on to it.
If I duplicate my employee records, I can create identical employees with a different payroll ID and add these to the new pay schedule. But there doesn't seem to be any way of then deleting/deactivating the current pay schedule?
I don't need the functionality of advanced payroll - I just want to change my employees' regulat pay day!! And the BrightPay pricing of £49 or £99 is going to be a more cost-effective way of doing that than £96 pa plus £1 per employee.
