Greetings, @KHConsult

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. Let's work together to get these Google trips imported into your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.

Have you tried using a private browser or incognito window as a fix to this? If not, perform these shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift +
  • Internet Explorer/Firefox: Ctrl + Shift +
  • Safari: Command + Shift +

It's that easy! If this works, go back to your regular session and clear your browser's history

Come back and let us know if this works for you or if we need to do some additional digging. I'll be waiting for your response!

I appreciate taking the steps shared by my colleague above, KHConsult.

I understand how important it is for you to track mileage by importing through Import Google trips to track and maintain an accurate record of your vehicle's activities. I'll share additional information to bring the data into your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.

After checking into it, I discovered that we are investigating the error you received and that our engineering team is already working to resolve it. In the meantime, you can manually add trips while they work on the issue.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Miles menu.
  2. Click Add trip button.
  3. Enter the date and distance.
  4. (Optional) Add a start and end address.
  5. Add a Trip purpose note.
  6. Once done, hit Save.
  7. Repeat the same process for the rest of your trips.

After you record the transaction, miles and the tax deduction will be calculated automatically. Check out this article for more information: Manually track mileage in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I also recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support to add you to the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive an email notification once the issue got fixed.

Additionally, I've added the following article in case you need more details on mileage tracking in QuickBooks Self-Employed: Learn how QuickBooks Self-Employed calculates mileage deductions.

If you need further assistance tracking your trips, don't hesitate to post again. We're always available to help you.

Hello Giovann,

Thank you for the tip however, I'm ok with adding manually, I want to add my past trips for the last 2 years, 2021, 2022

The app is tracking my current mileage fine, its the past information i need imputing into the system.

I've tried again today and im getting the same error again.

There must be away of importing the information in CSV format ?

Cheers
