Intuit Data Protect is included in all QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, and Enterprise subscriptions. Since Quickbooks was backing up our data under Data Protect, it's possible that you enabled automated backups in your company file. To review your setup, follow the steps below:
- Go to the File menu.
- Hover your mouse over Back Up Company to see if you're automating online backup.
