QuickBooks 2024

My client was having issues with his QB 2023 and when he called for support the only option they gave him was an upgrade to 2024 (these are desktop). Not sure why he didn't ask our firm for help... however now he's stuck with QB 2024 Desktop.  We are currently using 2023 in house at our accounting office. I went onto our Camps.intuit.com account to download and install QB 2024 so I can look at the backup copy the client sent me. Normally all the QB versions are listed for download. I do not see QB 2024.  However I do see "PAP Enterprise Software Bundle" . I assume that this is the link I need to use to get QB 2024?? I follow the steps and when I get to the Download options, I see no option for 2024. Any thoughts on how I get 2024 Accountant? I need to be able to assist our clients when they are forced to upgrade and to look at their files at tax time.

    I'm having the same problem.  I can not download 2024.  I have gone to the ProAdvisor page, selected down load and I have nothing to select for QB 2024.  I have used the QuickBooks Help page for this issue and I tried to use CAMPs, but it circles me right back to the same page I was at originally.    It takes me in circles.  I do not get the screen that you have shown as an example.  I need assistance but none of the support centers have been able to help me.  How do I get it to download when the "download" selection is not blue.

    I fear installing and updating my 2023 QB Desktop Accountant to 2024 version as I worry it will require me to update all my customer files  but I share a cloud storage file with a client that is still using Desktop 2023 and I don't want to force him into upgrading prior to his purchase deadline.  Can you confirm if Accountants can still open and operate multiple years of the Desktop software without requiring all "company files" installed to be upgraded?

    Don't remove your QBD 2023. You can run QBD 2023 and 2024 on the same machine at the same time.

    I just found it!  If you select "PAP Enterprise Software Bundle" then on the lower half of the screen, there is a section titled "Included in this plan."  If you select "Show More" you should see an option for Enterprise.  Clicking this link will take you to your download page and list your license/product number.  Intuit is really not making it easy for us to keep using the desktop software!

      I'm here to assist you with your QuickBooks (QB) download issue, Lisa.

       

      To get started with your download, you can visit the Downloads & Updates page to obtain the download link for your version of QB.

       

      ProAdvisors can log into the QB ProAdvisor Center to download their software, while Accountants can log into CAMPS to download their software.

       

      To download your installation file, follow these steps:

       

      1. From the Downloads & Updates page, choose your country, product, and version.

      2. Click on the Download button.

       

      If you already have QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and want to upgrade your product to a newer version, you can check out the Upgrade to a New Desktop version article.

       

      Once you have downloaded QBDT, follow these steps to install it:

       

      1. If this is your first time, set up a multi-user network and install QuickBooks Database Server Manager before proceeding with the installation.

      2. Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements, and have your product and license number handy.

      3. Open the QuickBooks.exe file.

      4. Follow the on-screen instructions, accept the software license agreement, and then select "Next".

      5. Enter your product and license numbers, and then hit "Next".

       

      You have two options when installing QB: you can either choose the express install or custom and network install.

       

      Express Install:

       

      We recommend this option if you are a first-time user, reinstalling QB, or using QB on one computer (not as part of a network of computers).

       

      1. Select "Express" and then "Next".

      2. Click "Install".

      3. When the installation completes, hit "Open QuickBooks".

       

      Custom and Network Install:

       

      We recommend this option if you install QB somewhere other than the default location (such as on a server), host your company files on a server, or have a multi-user network.

       

      For more information on this option, refer to the "Custom and Network install" section of this article: Install QuickBooks Desktop.

       

      After installing, QB will prompt you to activate it. You can follow this article to learn how: Activate QuickBooks Desktop for Windows.
