QuickBooks freezes when I try to open an old uncleared deposit. I can't revert or cancel. It is just stuck. How do I prevent that?
If this is the case for a particular deposit only, and others work, the transaction is probably damaged. In this case, Rebuilding the data file may fix it. Start at File | Utilities | Rebuild Data...
