setting up connection with wise bank requires plan upgrade

I have already connected with wells fargo bank. but when i try to connect with wise bank it says i need to upgrade my plan to support multi currency accounts. 

 

in wise i am only using usd and that is the only one i want to sync up. how to do it without requiring this unnecessary plan upgrade?

Wise offers a powerful multi-currency feature, allowing you to manage funds in various currencies within a single account. However, this feature requires an upgrade beyond the Simple Start plan.

 

The Simple Start plan in QuickBooks Online doesn’t support multi-currency functionality. To seamlessly integrate your Wise account, upgrading your QuickBooks plan is necessary.

 

Alternatively, if you prefer not to upgrade your subscription plan, we can manually upload your bank transactions from your bank institution.

yes but we dont use the multi currency. we are purely a US based business so why do we have to upgrade?

You may need to upgrade your plan if Wise.com is detected as a non-US bank when connecting it. Even if you're transacting in USD, the multicurrency feature must be enabled so you can connect your Wise account.

 

Here's how to upgrade:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Subscription and billing and click Upgrade your plan.
  3. Choose a plan on the next page and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Alternatively, you can manually upload transactions into QuickBooks if you prefer not to upgrade. This process involves downloading transactions in a supported format (QBO, CSV, or QFX) and uploading them to the Banking page.
