The dashboard sales do not necessarily match the P&L widget in QuickBooks Online. The sales widget only shows all the sales transactions, like sales receipts, invoices, credit memos, and other sales activities. While the Profit and Loss contain all of the sales transactions and non-sales transactions like journal entries and deposits. The dropdown options on the Dashboard Sales widget are useless. Can you make them match the P&L widget please?

Right...

What is point of being able view a chart of sales for the last three months, six months... but not having the option to see sales for last year, as is available in the P&L widget.

I’m not commenting on the figures not matching, I’m commenting that several the dropdown options are pointless and the menu is lacking other options that would be useful. Just ask the person who set up the P&L widget what they think.
