Hi there, @ehsitt.

I'm here to help share insights about the QuickBooks tool hub.

As of the moment, the QuickBooks tool hub version 1.4 is no longer available for download. This is because this tool gets timely updates and the latest version available now is version 1.6.

Kindly read and use this article to learn more about the tool: Download and Install the QuickBooks Tool Hub.

On that note, I'm including this reference so you're able to use all the features and functions of QuickBooks: Help Articles in QuickBooks Desktop. You're able to read subtopics that will describe how a feature is used and how to accomplish tasks related to its functions.

I've got you covered id you have questions aside from working with the tool hub in QuickBooks. Don't forget to include my name, @JonpriL, in your reply so that I can get back here and answer all your concerns. Stay safe!

Hello, I got new computers and and everything is up and running but my QB Files (2024 pro Desktop) will not print to PDF.  I used the tool hum and ran the PDF repair tool, restarted and it still gives me the same error message about missing a component and to try the pdf repair tool.   Any thoughts?

Thanks for joining the Community and getting involved with this thread, KCIKeicor. I appreciate your detailed information.

Since you've already tried troubleshooting with your PDF Repair Tool, I'd initially recommend restarting your computer. If the problem continues, you can try resetting temp folder permissions next.

Here's how:

  1. Press and hold the Windows and R keys simultaneously on your keyboard. This will open the RUN command.
  2. Type "%TEMP%" and press Enter.
  3. Right-click an empty area of your temp folder.
  4. Choose Properties.
  5. Go to Security.
  6. Confirm all user names and groups in Security have Full Control.

If the problem continues in QuickBooks, you can try testing if you can print to your XPS. Detailed steps for doing so can be found in our Fix PDF &  Print problems article. You'll also find additional troubleshooting processes in this article.

Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any questions. Have a

I run Quickbooks Tools Hub (QBTH)  and it shows at the bottom "Installed Version is 1.4.0.0 - Check for updates"

Clicking on that, I get routed to an oddly headered article (rather than a clear, straightforward, single purpose one... to UPDATE!)... that says  "We recommend you download the most recent version (1.6.0.3) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. "   I click on that hyperlink, download and install the update, and run QBTH... and it shows the SAME THING, still - Installed Version is 1.4.0.0

Attempted a repair operation and same thing.  UNINSTALLED QBTH from control panel - then redownloaded and reinstalled - NOW... it shows the current version.
