Buy nowHi Heather, the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app is no longer available to download from the Apple or Android Play Stores as of March 24, 2024. I recommend using your Galaxy phone to access your QBSE Account.
As a workaround, you can utilize any web browser on your iPhone to access your QBSE Account.
You might also consider transitioning to our QuickBooks Solopreneur product, which offers features similar to QBSE. Designed for self-employed businesses, it includes essential accounting functionalities such as invoicing, banking, and mileage tracking.
Furthermore, you may want to explore these resources to export your data in case you need a backup of your file in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
If there’s anything more you’d like to explore or clarify about QuickBooks Self Employed, feel free to share your thoughts below. We are here to help.
Hi I just lost my QBSE app for iPhone and it won’t let me re-download. I searched for solopreneaur on iPhone and it didn’t pop up as an option. Are there any apps available to replace the QBSE? I track mileage a lot!!! Thank you!
The QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app is no longer available to download from the Apple Store as of March 24, 2024 for new customers, Jonalee00.
As for the QuickBooks Solopreneur, we need to download QuickBooks Accounting app because this platform belongs to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) ecosystem. Once done, we can sign up for it so that an account will be created for us to track our mileage. Please note that signing up for this platform (QuickBooks Solopreneur), means that, we will be creating a brand new account.
However, if we want to access the same account that we have (QBSE), we may access it by checking our recent installations in your iPhone history:
Alternatively, you can log in using the web browser on your iPhone or computer:
I've added a screenshot for your visual reference:

We can also track our mileage manually via the web browser: Manually track mileage in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
In QBSE, we can also connect our bank. Check this link for your reference: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Click the Reply button if you need further assistance in tracking your mileage. We are available 24/7. Have a good day.
I just realized qbse is no longer available on App Store when I went to see if there was an update for it.
I there an easy way to migrate/ transfer all my info and transactions from QBSE to the QB version you just recommended (solopreneur)?
Hello Semianson. There isn't a quick button to move your info over automatically. These two versions work differently, which is why the reliable way to do it is to move your data manually.
To safely get your information:

Once you have those files, go to the QuickBooks website and sign up for Solopreneur using your same login email to keep everything connected.
Lastly, connect your bank accounts in your new Solopreneur dashboard to import your recent work. Then, use it to add any older records you need.
To follow along with the full visual guide for this, you can find it right here: How to Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to Solopreneur.
