New Laptop without DVD/CD Drive

I have been using QuickBooks 2003 updated to 2008.  I bought a new laptop and was going to install QuickBooks on it, but it has no CD or DVD drive.  I have license number, registration number, and serial number, and I can log into the QuickBooks site here, but I don't see a way to download or verify my software.  Am I just out of luck?

    I can share you the installer file for QuickBooks 2008. But the real question is about Windows OS. It only supports Vista and XP. Do you want to install one of them on your new machine?

    QuickBooks 2008 is no longer supported. Furthermore, there's no available download link.

     

    There might be a need to purchase a new QuickBooks Desktop.  Check it here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/desktop/pro/.

    QuickBooks 2003? Try Windows XP. I am not sure you are able to run it on Vista.

    I  have an external cd/dvd drive that plugs into a usb of my laptop. I got it for about  $35.

      QuickBooks Desktop 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 are the versions currently supported right now.

       

      We're unable to provide product requirements for 2008 since it's no longer supported. You'll want to download the latest release to keep you up-to-date as mentioned by my colleague @MaryLurleenM.

       

      You can also refer to the download a free 30-day trial of QuickBooks page if ever you want to drive-test the 2020 version. It provides license and product numbers to help run the program.

      I just bought a new PC and it does not have a drive. I need to install QuickBooks Desktop 2017 on it. what are my options other than buying a external device.
