QuickBook tech and the QuickBook forum could not fix my QuickBooks On Line account. Sometimes you just can't figure out the problem. It happens. No hard feelings against them. They tried their best. However, I have a business to run and I need bookkeeping software. Is there a bookkeeping software that can pull in the records stored in QuickBooks On Line? I would very much do not want to have to retype the information, invoices, and expenses stored on line. Thank you.

What kind of "fix" do you need?
Have you decided which accounting app you want to use?

Hi there, wrhatt1.
Similar to Fiat's question, can you tell us what issue you're having with your QBO account? We just want to check and make sure that we explore all possible options to sort it out.
Please add a reply below to share more details. We look forward to it.
As an example, I create an invoice 07/01/22. Close the program. 07/02/22 I create another invoice and see the invoice from 07/01/22 is paid. I haven't received payment yet. I open the invoice and see it was paid 03/1/22. How can it be paid 03/01/22 when I didn't create the invoice until 07/01/22? QuickBook techs did a remote into my computer and couldn't fix it. Do you think QuickBook desktop would work properly if it pulled in my QuickBook Online data?
Thanks for getting back to us, wrhatt.
I have some information about managing invoices and their payments in QuickBooks.
To start, we'll have to delete the payments on 03/1/22 in QuickBooks. You can do this by going through the customer's account. Let me show you how:
For QuickBooks Desktop:
For QuickBooks Online:
You can now recreate the invoice with the correct data once you're done. Refer to this article for more information about invoices and receiving customer payments:

QuickBook techs tried that but the next time we opened QuickBooks Online, they were paid again. Tech couldn't figure out why they are showing paid.
As I type this, I'm in QuickBooks and an invoice I created 05/02/2022 is showing paid from 12/23/2018. That is 3 and a 1/2 years before I created the invoice

It looks like your QBO account is having some annoying glitches. Consider opening a new blank QBO account and migrating your data from the old account.

QB Desktop is more isolated than QB Online because you can control how you register your transactions. You may consider purchasing a one-time license for QB Desktop 2021 if needed.
My question is, will I just be importing corrupt data if I migrate from Online to Desktop? Will the problem continue?

You are using QBO US version, correct? You must remove those "unneeded/corrupted transactions" and run the trial balance for your reference before converting your data to a QB Desktop file.

All that has been tried by QuickBook tech. They couldn't fix it.
Otherwise, convert your data from QBO to QBD as is. Then delete unnecessary transactions on your QBD file later.
