Electronic signature not working

Just downloaded quickbooks app on iOS for my new job. I would like the customer to sign the invoice I created for them on my phone, before I email it. Unfortunately, when I click the signature option, my phone grays and loads to nothing. New iPhone 13 pro btw. Tried deleting the app, reinstalling, and restarting my phone. Thanks

Electronic signature not working

Let's make sure your electronic signature works for your QuickBooks mobile app, Andyajc0676.

 

After you've uninstalled and installed the app, you'll have to clear or refresh your data so you'll be able to see the latest available information. To do this, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
    Note: A message appears “Caution. If there was a problem getting your latest QuickBooks Online data, you can refresh it now. It may take a few minutes.”
  3. Tap Refresh to confirm.

 

Aside from that, ensure all iOS app updates are being installed. Then, you can also let your customers try multiple invoices when signing electronic invoices. Electronic signature not working

In the iOS app, there is no refresh data option under help & feedback. Also, I installed this app on another iPhone and the e signature feature under invoices didn’t work either. But, I installed it on my wife’s android phone and the option did work. Is there anyway this issue could be forwarded to technical support?

Yes. You can contact our QuickBooks Online Support Team so that you’ll be added to the list of affected users and get notified via email of any updates.

 

Moreover, would you mind if you could provide us a screenshot with regards to your concern about why there's no refresh option under Help & Feedback. This way, we can see your interface and provide the right steps to refresh your data in your mobile app. Alternatively, we can refresh the app from your phone's settings. Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Setting General iPhone Storage.
  3. Choose the Offload App button.

Electronic signature not working

Thank you for the update Gebel. I have some further information that might help. I downloaded the app on my daughters iPad with the same iOS, and it actually worked. I think the issue is the app freezes, when the screen goes into landscape mode to capture the signature on a phone. I believe the iPad worked because the screen being larger, it didn’t have to rotate. My wife’s Samsung phone didn’t freeze when the screen went into landscape mode for the signature.
