How to process foreign transaction fee?

We use our visa in Canada quite a bit and end up with foreign transaction fees. I've searched the community and am not sure how to enter this into QB desktop for Mac. Would it be part of the credit card charge or something else? I'm confused. Thanks.

Hello Scottman,

You can record the foreign transaction fee as Credit Card Charge. Use the charge item and enter the total amount converted to USD. You may also ask for more help from your accountant on how to enter it. They might have another option that is best for your business.

If you need anything else, please let us know. Thanks!
