I bought a power tool. have that recorded in QB. I returned the tool and got my money back. How do I record that?

you got the money back, so that is either a credit card credit, or cash you deposit in a bank account

enter which ever one it is and use the same account that you used when you bought the tool

There is no need to see how many of the products I have returned, right?
so there is no need to choose refund from uncategorized income?
I refunded a total of $10,000.
but it looks like I had $10,000 in expenses and $10,000 in income.
if that's not wrong its ok
