QuickBooks Online Advanced - Custom Fields

I know there's been A LOT of "feedback" about QBO Advanced.  All I'm going to say is if you have a need for custom fields, you might want to check out QBO Advanced.  They have rolled out A LOT of flexibility vs. the other levels.

I included a screenshot below just as an example.

Also, you can customize and filter reports based on these custom fields also.

And I would say that the few added features combined with the reduction of usage limits in no way justifies a 250% price increase over Plus ( from an overpriced $60/month to an outrageous $150/month when for the price of a month and a half you can be in desktop for 3 years)

Everyone has a right to their opinion.

If your needs are better served by desktop, I HIGHLY encourage you to switch.  When you compare OTHER online accounting solutions, IMO QuickBooks Online is still very reasonably priced with different levels.  In addition to the fact that QBO Advanced is still a new product and I'm sure they will be rolling out a LOT of new features to it to increase the value.   Trust me, I was one of the people who also didn't see the value in the advanced version.  This new feature though, I have to say what this allows the program to be capable of is pretty darn good in my opinion.

Like I said, everyone has a right to their opinion.

A lot of flexibility means a lot of different things.

Is there a listing somewhere that shows what exactly QBO advanced has that QBO+ does not?

If intuits history has anything to do with the future of QBO advanced, new features will mean higher cost too.

QuickBooks rolled out a few new features but it's not available in your Plus plan. In other words, tricky Intuit downgraded your Plus plan when it comes to expecting new product enhancements you always wanted for over the years.

Thousands and thousands of you QBO users send feedbacks for some of these feature requests over the years but it seems you may not be getting it on your Plus plan.

1. Make the User rights more flexible and customizable
2. Up to 25-Users
3. Create multiple invoices all at once
4. Import Invoices from Excel CSV file (maybe 'Vendor Bills' also since its already available in the UK)
5. Add 'Custom Fields' on the Customer Information profile
6. Dedicated Customer Success Manager???
7. Premium care (no more 1-hour wait, I guess)
9. Unlimited COA, Class/Location tracking (lucky they didn't touch your products/services yet)
10. Fathom financial reporting app for free

11. Overview (dashboard and sales)

Yes, these are already available in QBO but just not available in your current plan. If you $150 per month, you can have it.

Maybe it's worth $150 p/mo (from $60 p/mo plan) when they have:
1. Seamless moving to QuickBooks Desktop using your computer OS and popular browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari)
2. Making real QBO backup (also QBO to QBO conversion)
3. Banking enhancements: be able to create sales receipts and also be able to use items details tab for both income and expenses

1. Make the User rights more flexible and customizable

specifically how are they more flexible and customizable, that is a general statement that really says nothing

2. Up to 25-Users
3. Create multiple invoices all at once

this was asked for? I must be missing something

4. Import Invoices from Excel CSV file (maybe 'Vendor Bills' also since its already available in the UK)
5. Add 'Custom Fields' on the Customer Information profile
Yep those were needed

6. Dedicated Customer Success Manager???
7. Premium care (no more 1-hour wait, I guess)
9. Unlimited COA, Class/Location tracking (lucky they didn't touch your products/services yet)
10. Fathom financial reporting app for free

11. Overview (dashboard and sales)

 custom fields

I can't find this in the sample company.  There is no Custom Field list in All Lists.  Do you have to activate it in Settings?  Can't find it there either

@Malcolm Ziman

The sample company is QBO Plus, not QBO Advanced.

So...the sample company to test drive Advanced is only Plus? Meaning all those fancy new features of Advanced are not able to be test driven?
