I have tried to open my QuickBooks Pro Desktop 2017 and it just will not. It will bring up the round circle with the green dots then that goes away and nothing else happens. Once it gave me the message that QuickBooks was already running. I have checked the task manager and it does not show QuickBooks running. So what do I do? I am using Windows 10. Does this have something to do with the new update and not supporting the 2017 version now? Thank you for your help.

Though the add-on services for QuickBooks Desktop 2017 have already been discontinued, the program is still supported in Windows 10. Hence, we can still do troubleshooting steps to get it working.

Try reinstall and run your QBD 2017 on compatibility mode Win 7 as a workaround.
