Buy nowSo for several years we have added a location column on our quotes (and our invoices) so when I create an invoice from a quote it carries over as several of my customers require the location of each delivery. This has been great, all of sudden this year, it won't carry over. We haven't changed either template, both are exactly the same as they were before but it will not carry over the information from quote to invoice and I do not know what the mapping issue is. Anyone else have this issue??? I do not know how to fix it as I've tried everything I can think of.
thanks
Hello there, JB7391. Start fresh by creating a new Quote template and a new Invoice template from scratch. Be sure to include the Location column in both templates and ensure that the labels match exactly. Test the flow by converting the quote to an invoice. If this new setup works, it indicates that your old templates may have a minor corruption. In that case, you can return to your original templates and double-check that the location column is enabled for both and verify that all other settings are identical.
If the issue persists even with the new templates, you'll want to run a Verify and Rebuild on your company file to rule out any underlying data integrity issues.

Good day, JB7391.
I just wanted to follow up to check if the resolution I provided helped address your concern.
We’ll be glad to assist further if needed.
No this did not work.
I hear you, JB. This counts as unusual behavior, I suppose. If by tracking location, you've used either of these functions: (class tracking, custom field, or the other columns on the estimate template), the information should be carried over from estimate to invoice.
Please ensure that your QBDT is up-to date. Also, I recommend to Repair your company file using QuickBooks File Doctor or Manually repair your company file by rebuilding your data.
