Since QuickBooks 2013 is no longer supported, upgrading it to the higher version like 2013 to 2015 to 2019 is a great way to avoid company file issues. In addition, before upgrading your company file, please secure a backup copy. Then, restore the data up to the trial version.

On the other hand, we're unable to provide trial versions for unsupported products like the older versions. In your case, I encourage contacting us to get the validation code or checking third-party websites for the older trial versions.

Also, ensure your computer meets the minimum requirements to install QuickBooks.

I can share the trial code for QBD 2015 and 2019 (plus 2021 and 2022 if required) to upgrade your file gradually. Then you can still purchase the one time license for QBD 2021 or wait for the upcoming QBD 2023 in October.

Is someone able to share Quickbooks Pro 2013 or 2015 Trial license with me?

We have acquired a company that used Quickbooks, we need to install the software to read the backup file we have, but I cannot get it installed with the license and product numbers they have provided me.

You need to make sure which country version the old company use before. US, CA or UK. You should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA for assistance.

I have the same issue except i need the keys and product ID's to the 2015 and 2018 Trial Versions (QuickBooks Pro) US English. The ones in this thread posted in 2022 report back as invalid. Can you supply? Thanks

Do you need to upgrade from 2013 to 2024?

Did you solve your problem and if so, how? I have downloaded a trial version but the license keys I found in support did not work. The install program reports them as invalid.

I need to upgrade from 2012. I saw in one support thread that successive upgrades to 2015 and to 2018 will work to get me to the version I want to use, 2021. These are all QB Pro  US English.

I'll share details about obtaining the license key and product ID for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Pro 2015 and 2018, @JT195.

Currently, we're unable to supply the license key and product ID for QBDT Pro 2015 and 2018 trial versions. The only available on our website is the latest one for QBDT Enterprise. That said, you can consider searching outside QuickBooks to obtain the details you need.

In the meantime, you can download the latest QBDT Enterprise trial version. Before doing so, create a backup copy of your company file and ensure your computer meets minimum requirements. Then, download the installer file found in this article: Download a trial of QuickBooks Desktop.

Once done, update your company file to the new version. Here's how:

1. Open your new version of QBDT. Go to File and click Open or Restore Company.
2. Select Open a company file or Restore a backup copy, then Next.
3. Select your company file and click Open.
4. Sign in to your company file as the admin user and select Update Now.
5. When finished, click Done.
