Budgets by Class

Hi there, @Sandi6300.

I understand how important it is to create your budget by class using the old way. I'm here to guide you on how to create a budget target in QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings and select Budgeting.
  2. Click Create new
  3. Select the fiscal year you're creating the budget for.
  4. Select the Budget formatSubdivided budget.
  5. Under Subdivide by, choose Class.
  6. You can also select multiple different classes under the Add subdivided budget for.

I want to provide this article for future reference: Set budget targets for each class in QuickBooks Online.

If there are any inquiries you have regarding creating the budget target by class, please do not hesitate to reply to this post. I'm here to assist you at any time.

Budgets by Class

Hello,

Under Subdivided budget for:  I have the option of multiple or it lists all the categories by class, I don’t have the option to choose class.  If I click on all the categories by class then only the category show up.  It does not show each class.

I need all the classes to show for each category to input the budget for each class.
